As we expand, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our accounting operations and support our financial strategy.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities:<br /> <br /> - Manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.<br /> - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS.<br /> - Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes including bank reconciliations and journal entries.<br /> - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.<br /> - Ensure accurate VAT filings and compliance with UAE tax laws.<br /> - Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits ensuring all documentation is accurate.<br /> - Supervise and mentor junior accountants and other finance staff.<br /> - Develop and implement internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial policies.<br /> - Liaise with other departments (HR, Procurement, Operations) to ensure financial accuracy across the business.<br /> <br /> <br /> Requirements:<br /> <br /> - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.<br /> - Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.<br /> - Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a senior role.<br /> - Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and IFRS standards.<br /> - Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems.<br /> <br /> <br /> Benefits:<br /> <br /> - Competitive salary based on experience.<br /> - Medical insurance coverage provided.<br /> - Annual paid leave entitlement.<br /> - End-of-service benefits as per UAE labor law.
